Animals have always held a special place in my heart, touching me deeply and filling my life with love and companionship. They've been a constant source of understanding and connection, especially during times when people and even family didn't quite see me for who I was, particularly during my formative years.
Years ago, a friend posed a thought-provoking question: What did I truly want to do? Without hesitation, I expressed my immense love for animals and my desire to serve and support them. It was then that the notion of training service dogs came up. Although the idea of aiding people felt noble to me, I did not feel called to this pursuit as my true passion lay in helping the animals themselves. I then decided to volunteer at an animal shelter. This felt like a step in the right direction, until I realized that my heart ached to rescue and adopt every single animal in need. So I adopted one and later rescued another puppy that I added to my family.
And then one day I saw the video "The incredible story of how leopard Diabolo became Spirit" of the animal communicator, Anna Breytenbach, with Spirit, the black leopard, and it touched my heart and soul on a profound level.
The way she was able to hear him and change his (and his people’s) lives was everything I was yearning to do for the animals.
Upon discovering the realm of animal communication through this video, I initially believed it was a gift reserved for a select few fortunate individuals. However, my perception changed when I learned that there were schools dedicated to teaching this skill. When I discovered there were schools dedicated to teaching this subject, I was thrilled! I realized that I, too, could learn animal communication and make a genuine difference
After months of searching for the right teacher and hitting dead ends, I stumbled upon Maia Kincaid, Ph.D. Her welcoming demeanor and uncomplicated teaching style resonated with me immediately. Through her guidance, I found myself communicating with animals from the very first class. With ongoing support, countless answered questions, and continuous practice, I've transitioned from a learner to a professional animal communicator, giving a voice to animals around the world.
Today, after over a year of learning, practicing, and evolving, I stand confident in my ability to communicate with animals. With the exceptional guidance of Maia and the support of like-minded colleagues, I've grown not only as a communicator but also as a person and an advocate for animals.
Together, let's amplify the voice of our beloved animals and strengthen our connection with them.
