I had the honor to have an interspecies conversation with the ancient Sequoia Trees, in Mariposa Grove, California. Please find their transcribed message below.
"We are the Wisdom Keepers.
Deeply rooted in the self, we are an expression of the universe.
There is no need for thinking, as we attained the wisdom of knowing, of trusting and of being an important part in the web of all life.
If you take a moment to truly connect with us, you know that we are very much alive, just like you, but in a different form.
You call us old and ancient, but for us, time is not measured in your terms and in truth it doesn't even excist. Life is a natural cycle and we are all part of it.
Our wisdom allows us to bathe in the warm, loving, compassionate energy of Mother Earth, the universe, and the knowingness that all is well.
When you tap into our energy you will find that you are never alone and that all life can vibrate in this energy of love.
We communicate with each other and and with all of life.
Human beings tend to have many thoughts and are often unsettled and restless. We have seen many - some just take pictures and hurry on to the next thing on their list fot the day. Some pause and marvel at our age and what we must have seen and experienced. Some regard us simply as a "tree" which often translates to simply being a commodity for humans.
Others truly see, feel, hear and connect with us, and those of you that do, feel touched by our love as we are by yours.
Wherever you are, close your eyes and connect with us.
Breathe in our fragrance, and allow your heart to open to the wisdom, love, comfort, peace, harmony and joy that we are."
I express my deep gratitude to the trees and all of nature for their immense wisdom and love that help us remember our place on Mother Earth and the deep connection that we all share. And thank you to your dear reader, for your love of nature and the animals.
Together, let's amplify the voice of our beloved animals & nature and strengthen our connection with them.
